This is Maria Escoba. She is about 70 years old, we are not sure. She cannot see very well, but she still works, lives alone and takes care of herself. We tracted into her several months ago and she wasn´t interested. However, our security guard, who is a member of the church, gave her a blessing and she asked him how to learn more. We taught her, with the help of the Elders. She was ready for a change and her only question was, "How much does it cost to be a member of the church?" We taught her about tithing and fast offerings, the Articles of Faith and when we challenged her to be baptized she accepted. She is so tiny. All the little kids over 8 years love to be seen with her because she is so little. We just love her!
Hope all is well on the homefront.
Much love to all...

Hey Jim...good to hear from you. As for the Espanol esta progresso muy dispacio, pero cuando hablamos nosotros hablamos Spanglish. Los gentes les gustamos muchisimo. We love Mexico, especially the people. How is the family? Say hello to all for us.
Love, Bill and Marj.
Hey Mom and Dad
What a beautiful sister. Im very happy for her. Im sure she will be welcomed into her ward or branch and find it a warm and welcomeing place. Good for you guys for finding her and teaching her. I bet she is a wonderful woman.
Things here have been very busy. Corinne works about 12 hours a day every day. They love here and she is very good at what she does. She says it will take another months or two to get the place in working order. I think it is very hard for here in one way. She cant leave work at work. She brings it home and things about it all of the time. Im a little worried. But she says she is glad she is here rather than at her old work since the one doc left. I just hope she can get it to a point where she can let go of it a little. The job is so demanding that it will never get to a place where everything is done and she can start a new the next day. There will always be things hanging and I worry that she might not be able to cope with that well. She says she can and that she just wants to get to a certain point then she will be able to feel good about leaving every day. I told here she needs to look at it like a factory worker at Ford. There will always be door handles in the bin for the door handle guy the next day and you cant go home worrying about the ones still sitting there for tomorrow. I cant even talk to her during the day. She had a phone on her desk, her cell phone and a pager and you still cant ever get her. I dont know how she does it. She is like a woman with her hair on fire.
I started working for a new company. It is a mortgage brokerage place. I think I will do well here. It will be a challange and I have a lot to learn but I think it is the best choice for me in the long run. I have a lot to learn but I will make a lot more money per loan and i will have a lot better choice of what loans I can do. Im looking forward to it.
Im actually writing to you from my office now. We were without email or internet access for a while. Actually I was without. Corinne had it at work but she hardly gets to her email. At least she does not reply to mine.
Andrew is doing really well. He is fully vested in his mission. You can just tell from his letters that he loves his mission, his area, his investigators. Its great because he has become a missionary. Im very proud of him. He refused to believe that Jessica lives on a farm with cows until he sees a picture. Jess owes me a picture of their home and so does Danni and Preston. As soon as I get them I will send them to Andrew and to you.
All of the family is doing well. I have a lot more and now that I have internet access i will get on and write a letter/email as well.
Two other things. First, what are the new rules for sending things through the pouch. We had stuff returned that was simply a letter in a single envelope. So what are the new rules.
Second. I see the comment fom "JIM" that your replyed to. If you reply to a comment I think it simply adds that reply to the comment page of the cooresponding post. I dont think it sends the post to the person you are replying to in an email. You would have to do that by typing their email in your browser. You may know better than I but I would check on that if your not sure.
